What does Glovebox do?

It is a private vehicle maintenance log. You record services, update the odometer yourself, and see which mileage intervals are due. It does not diagnose faults or talk to the car.

Do I need an account or internet?

No account. The log works offline. The app may use the network only to open legal pages in a WebView and to offer an optional Play Store review.

How much does it cost?

Glovebox is free to install on Google Play. There is no subscription and no in-app storefront in this version.

Which devices are supported?

Android phones, portrait, Android 7 (API 24) and newer. There is no iOS, tablet, TV, Wear, or Automotive listing.

How do mileage reminders work?

After you enter a new odometer reading, due intervals can post a local notification. You can fire a test reminder in Settings. If Android denies POST_NOTIFICATIONS, Settings shows a blocked state and a link to system settings. Reminders are not marketing and are not sent from a server.

Where is my data stored?

On the phone. Export a PDF history or a JSON backup when you want a copy. Restore replaces the local book from a file you pick. A two-step wipe clears the logbook on device.

How do I report a bug or ask for a feature?

Email support@gloveboxcarlog.online with the app version from Settings and the steps that failed. Feature ideas are welcome; we keep the sheet small on purpose.

Does it read my car?

No. Glovebox never connects to OBD, Bluetooth dongles, or dealer systems. Receipts and vehicle photos stay on the device after you pick them with the system camera or photo picker.
